Today, the kick-off meeting of the Interreg ESMIMET project “Development of interregional capacities around the strategic resources of metallic mining” took place in the facilities of Fundación CARTIF. The project aims to boost research, technological development and innovation in key aspects of the metal mining sector, including the environmental one.
Representatives of the LEACHLESS project participated in the meeting due to the interest of the mining sector as a potential replicator of the leachate treatment technology developed under this LIFE project. Collaboration between the two projects is expected to continue in the future.
