Representatives of the LIFE LEACHLESS project took part in the Circular Economy Conference for Stakeholders that took place in Brussels on 20 and 21 February.
Two years after the adoption of the Circular Economy by the European Union (December 2015), more than half of the initiatives included in the Action Plan have already been implemented. The Conference organised by the Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee therefore discussed the forthcoming results, explored new areas for action and shared the first achievements of the European Stakeholder Platform on Circular Economy.
In addition, there was an opportunity to discuss the use of various technically and environmentally sustainable alternatives such as the technologies used in the LIFE LEACHLESS project, as well as to present the project in participatory circles and parallel meetings.
